We are pleased to announce that the schools bid for a new playground and gardening area has been accepted and put through to the public vote on Saturday 26th May at the Louisa Centre, Stanley. Voting is to commence at 9.45am and finishes at 2pm with the winners being announced at 3pm!

We ask for as much community involvement as possible.... please see poster below.

A family day event has been announced between clusters schools Annfield Plain Infant, Annfield Plain Juniors and Catchgate Primary School to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee on Friday 1st June at 10.30am.

All parents have received a letter detailing the day (attached letter below). It is going to be a once in a life time event for the children. We ask for all those attending the event to come dressed in red, white and blue.

Class 3 featured in Thursday's Evening Chronicle (01/03/12). The class have welcomed 8 new arrivals to their classroom. The 8 chicks named; Fried, Scrambled, Benedict, Chocolate, Sunny, Shelly, Dippy and Leapy were photographed with the children to celebrate the hatching of "Leapy" who hatched on the 29th February 2012 - a Leap Year!
